Terms and Conditions for Young Star Driving School
Welcome to Young Star Driving School.
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the (the “Service”) operated by us. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Course Completion
Upon initial registration, students are required to complete the course within one year. This includes:
- 20 hours Online
- 10 hours of home links
- 10 hours of in-vehicle training
Issuance of BDE Certificate
Students will receive the BDE Certificate only upon successfully completing and passing both in-class and in-vehicle training according to Ministry standards. This must be completed within 12 months from starting the course.
Mini-Package Completion
Mini-Package students must complete their package within 12 months. Extra lessons (private lessons) must be paid in full by cash.
Administration Fee
An administration fee ($75.00 plus tax) will apply if a student does not want to continue the course after 10 days of registration.
Authority to Release Information
The driving school has the authority to release all information to MTO and any other organization or auditor appointed by the Ministry of Transportation.
Cancellation Policy
Students are required to give 24 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled in-vehicle training session(s) to avoid forfeiting them.
Payment Policy
A $50.00 fee will be applied to dishonored check(s). No refunds for Mini-Package registrations. For a Full-Course refund, you can get a full refund if you haven’t started any in-class or in-car training.
Required Materials
All students must have the “Official Ontario driver’s handbook.”
Release of Personal Information
Personal information is collected on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation under the authority of section 205 of the Highway Traffic Act. The information is used for the administration of the Ministry’s driver, vehicle, and carrier programs.

Student Course Information and Policies
- Full Course Requirements
- Students enrolled in the Beginners Driver Education (BDE) Program must complete:
- 20 hours of in-class/online sessions
- 10 hours of home links
- 10 hours of in-vehicle training
- Completion of all components is mandatory.
- Students enrolled in the Beginners Driver Education (BDE) Program must complete:
- BDE Certificate Eligibility
- The BDE Certificate is awarded only after successfully passing both in-class and in-vehicle training as per Ministry standards.
- The course must be completed within 6 months of registration.
- Course Completion Timeline
- Full Course students: Must complete all training within 6 months.
- Mini-Package students: Must complete their package within 6 months.
- Extra Lessons
Extra lessons (private sessions) must be paid in cash. - Cancellation Policy
An administration fee of $75.00 + tax applies if the student withdraws from the course after 10 days of registration. - Information Disclosure
The driving school reserves the right to release student information to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) or its auditors. - Terms and Conditions

In-car training pickup is available only within the school area.
