Terms and Conditions for Young Star Drivers

Welcome to Young Star Drivers.

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the

 (the “Service”)operated by us. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

Course Completion

Upon initial registration, students are required to complete the course within one year. This includes all  (

  • 20 hours Online,
  • 10 hours of home links, and
  • 10 hours of in-vehicle training.

Issuance of BDE Certificate

Students will receive the BDE Certificate only upon successfully completing and passing both in-class and in-vehicle training according to Ministry standards. This must be completed within 12 months from starting the course.

Mini-Package Completion

Mini-Package students must complete their package within 12 months. Extra lessons (private lessons) must be paid in full by cash.

Administration Fee

An administration fee ($75.00 plus tax) will apply if a student does not want to continue the course after 10 days of registration.

Authority to Release Information

The driving school has the authority to release all information to MTO and any other organization or auditor appointed by the Ministry of Transportation.

Cancellation Policy

Students are required to give 24 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled in-vehicle training session(s) to avoid forfeiting them.

Payment Policy

A $50.00 fee will be applied to dishonored check(s). No refunds for Mini-Package registrations. For a Full-Course refund, you can get a full refund if you haven’t started any in-Class or in-Car training.

All students must have the “Official Ontario driver’s handbook” 

Release of Personal Information

Personal information is collected on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation under the authority of section 205 of the Highway Traffic Act. The information is used for the administration of the Ministry’s driver, vehicle and carrier programs.

1. New Student registered for a full course (Beginners Driver Education Program) must attend all classroom sessions (20 hours classroom) / Online, 10 hours of home links, and 10 hours of in-vehicle training.
2. Student will receive the BDE Certificate only upon successfully completing and passing both in-class and in-vehicle training according to Ministry standards which must be completed within 6 months.
3. Student must complete the full course within 6 months from starting the course. (Both in-class and in-vehicle training)
4. Mini-Package students must complete their package within 6 months.
5. Extra lessons (private lessons) must be paid in full by cash.
6. Administration fee ($75.00 plus tax) will apply if student does not want to continue the course after 10 days of registration.
7. Driving school has authority to release all information to MTO and any other organization or auditor appointed by the Ministry of Transportation.
8. Students must read all terms and conditions before signing (Required by MTO)
9. Students are required to give 24 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled in-vehicle training session(s) to avoid forfeiting them.
10. A $50.00 fee will be applied to dishonored check(s)
11. No refunds for Mini-Package registrations. For a Full-Course refund, you can get a full refund if you haven’t started any in-Class or in-Car training.
12. All students must have the “Official Ontario driver’s handbook” in order to attend in-class training
13. Pickup for the in-car is near the school area only.
