I was looking for a couple lessons before I did my G test and connected with Mr. Hamid from Young Star Driving school. You could tell he has a lot of experience from his clear and thorough instructions, and alongside his patience in teaching I was able to easily pass my G test on the first try.
Zubair is an experienced instructor who can quickly assess you weak areas in driving and is able to suggest corrective actions.My experience with him was pretty good and although I have 15 years of driving experience in another country, his inputs were instrumental in helping me drive confidently on Toronto roads.Two things that stood out were his calm demeanor and the vehicle cleaniness. Would recommend him to anyone looking to improve driving skills.

Passed my G test today (first try)!! I had Nafeesa as my instructor and it was an incredible experience. Took 3 lessons with her prior to my test and she told me everything I needed to know and work on, so every lesson I get more and more comfortable with every little detail that I needed to pass the test. She was very patient, very instructive and her positive energy truly made me feel comfortable behind the wheels! She knows what she’s doing for sure. Hello, they do not offer services in downtown Toronto but they advertise for it - it is FALSE advertising - this is a disservice to the consumer as they are baiting and ask to register rather than being upfront .Save you time and money from this place because they are not honest.

Every penny you spend here is totally worth it. I have a very tight schedule and needed to get my licence done as soon as possible. When I called up young star driving school, not only were they accommodating, but my Instructor, Abid Sir was so fantastic, excellent blend of clam and strict driving lesson, Abid Sir taught me all there to driving in Canada. I couldn't thank him enough. If you're a novice or if you've had to driving experience back home but unsure about the rules and ways of driving I would anytime recommend this driving school and Abid Sir for definite.

I had Nafeesa as my driving instructor and she was the absolute best teacher ever! She taught me the best way to drive on the crazy city streets and prepared me for my road test at Metro East perfectly. Without her help I wouldn't have been able to pass my G2 test on my FIRST TRY!! After my test, the examiner told me that I was genuinely the best driving test he had had all year, and that I was driving at a very skilled level for my age that isn't seen often. Very bad experience, I tried two instructors one was very rude and the other one kept saying I need more lessons and asking to take more extra lessons just to get more money out of people also hid car was in bad shape to practice with.. I don't recommend going here unless you have prior experience and just need the test. I regret buying one of their packages.

Going into the program, I had some driving experience from a past driving school, but I wasn’t very confident in my skills. My driving instructor Nafeesa helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and made sure I was prepared for the G2 road test. I have finally overcome my fear of getting behind the wheels after 11 years thanks to Abid Sir. His patience and perseverance has made me clear G2 in one go at Port Union where passing rate is hard. As a 30-something year old woman driving for the first time, I was incredibly anxious. I was assigned Abid who from Lesson 1 brought the calmness that I needed (even when a deer ran across Kingston Road 5 minutes into our first lesson!).Not only that, but Abid is incredibly knowledgeable on what it takes to pass both the test and stay safe on the road long after you’ve passed. He put so much care and effort in so that I would pass my G2 first time with flying colours—and yesterday I did! I had a great experience with Young Star Driving School. The online learning was easy to follow and provided a lot of good tips to help with practical skills. My instructor Nafeesa was amazing! She is kind, patient and made me feel so calm during all of my lessons. When it came to booking my G2 driving test she handled everything for me and I was able to use the same car I did in my lessons for my test as well. Thanks Abid for great observations and for identifying my weakness for my G2 and G tests.Just in case you failed for 1st time, get the soft copy of your test results from online drive test site and show to him. This will help him to concentrate more on your weaknesses.Also, I’d like to say big thanks for suggesting to give my G test second attempt at Oshawa drive test instead of Port Union. This suggestion was little bit expensive but end results was G test pass 😊.I’ll highly recommend to go with Young Star Driving School and if possible, get Abid as your instructor.

10/10 experience! I’ve taken driving lessons before with a different company to get my G2, and even though I passed I was still nervous doing the test and it took 2 attempts.With Young Star, specifically with my driver Abid, it was an amazing experience! Abid is very personable, friendly, humourous and has a very patient and detailed way of instructing. He really breaks things down so you’re able to grasp different concepts and really become comfortable driving. By the time my G test came up, I wasn’t even nervous because I was so confident in my driving abilities by then. As someone who has been nervous about driving essentially my whole life, words cannot describe the night and day difference in my driving confidence , after these lessons.10/10 would recommend!
I had gone to another driving school but was left unsatisfied by their level of instruction. I was referred to Young Star by my sister, and I am so glad to have found Nafeesa and Abid. They are very personable and thorough. I was able to pass my G2 with Nafeesa, and then my G test with Abid. I’m very glad that I have approached this driving school after failing 2 times in my driving test. I wrote to the management that I need someone to train me and make me clear the next time. Step 02: 10 Hours of Home-Link Online Education

- Objective: Reinforce classroom learning and ensure a thorough understanding of safe driving practices.
Transition to Online Learning
Due to COVID-19, classroom sessions and homework have moved online. This ensures students can continue their education and become confident drivers while following Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) protocols.
Previously:
- Students attended 20 hours of classroom sessions (five hours a day for four days).
- Teachers provided workbooks for home activities, including MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks, short questions, and small surveys.
Now:
- The same workbooks are available as online activities, which students can complete at their own pace.
