Young Star Driving School Toronto – MTO Approved

Young Star Driving School believes in safe driving and roads. As a first step, we help beginners and young drivers to pass G1 and G2 tests. We offer a wide range of driver school training packages at affordable rates. Our packages include 20 mandatory in-class lessons and 10 hours of in-car driving lessons. After successful B.D.E course completion, we certify students with MTO. The certificate can be redeemed from any Service Ontario Office. Check our courses.

My instructor Abid was excellent, he gave me tons of tips to drive safely and to pass my test on the first try. We practised every scenario plausible and I felt very comfortable around him and never felt under pressure or judged. Thanks to him I passed my G on the first try. Could not recommend enough!!! Inspite of being a novice driver, I passed my G2 driving exam on my first attempt today! My instructor, Abid, was the best! I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and school to work with. He’s kind, patient, very knowledgeable, and knows how to explain every concept in a simple and clear manner. And always had a smile during our sessions. I passed my G test today! Couldn’t have done it without his guidance. Totally recommend Young star driving school to anyone who wants to learn and have an enjoyable experience. Had an amazing experience from both Nafeesa and Abid, making me learn from every situation in a comforting and calm demeanour. Nafeesa was very patient and positive, allowing me to relax from the pressure of being behind the wheel and build my confidence. Update - I continued my classes with Mr. Hamid and passed G yesterday. Can't express my gratitude for his guidance in words. He doesn't miss anything and calls out sloppy driving right away...thanks to his instructions, I went for the test fully awake and aware of my focus areas.... Didn't make any of the mistakes Mr. Hamid had identified and got praise from the examiner 😊... Without those, would have failed, lol. Thank you again Mr. Hamid and YS driving school!I took classes with Mr. Hamid and passed my G2 test today after 5 classes. He is an amazing instructor with a patient and fun teaching style.I especially loved his positive way of providing constructive feedback and addressing all questions with clarity.He has always been punctual for the classes and prompt with any communication. Muhammad Zubair is an excellent driving instructor and I want to say that his teaching method is excellent, very precise, up to mark, very clear & concise. I passed my G test under his instruction. Beside all of above, the main thing is , he is really very punctual and sincere. On the day of my G test, even though he had high fever, he still took me to exam center and I passed as well which I believe no other instructor in this time ever do . Can’t recommend enough! I was able to go at my own pace with the online class, and then I got a very understanding and flexible instructor named Nafeesa! Zubair is an experienced instructor who can quickly assess you weak areas in driving and is able to suggest corrective actions.My experience with him was pretty good and although I have 15 years of driving experience in another country, his inputs were instrumental in helping me drive confidently on Toronto roads.Two things that stood out were his calm demeanor and the vehicle cleaniness. Hello, they do not offer services in downtown Toronto but they advertise for it - it is FALSE advertising - this is a disservice to the consumer as they are baiting and ask to register rather than being upfront .Save you time and money from this place because they are not honest.

Every penny you spend here is totally worth it. I have a very tight schedule and needed to get my licence done as soon as possible. When I called up young star driving school, not only were they accommodating, but my Instructor, Abid Sir was so fantastic, excellent blend of clam and strict driving lesson, Abid Sir taught me all there to driving in Canada. I couldn't thank him enough. If you're a novice or if you've had to driving experience back home but unsure about the rules and ways of driving I would anytime recommend this driving school and Abid Sir for definite.

I had Nafeesa as my driving instructor and she was the absolute best teacher ever! She taught me the best way to drive on the crazy city streets and prepared me for my road test at Metro East perfectly. Without her help I wouldn't have been able to pass my G2 test on my FIRST TRY!! After my test, the examiner told me that I was genuinely the best driving test he had had all year, and that I was driving at a very skilled level for my age that isn't seen often. Without Nafeesa's kindness and consistent teaching I would never have had such an easy test. I would 1000% recommend young star driving to any new drivers and Nafeesa to anyone who wants to be the best driver ever! 🙂

It’s been a while since I was behind the wheel and she helped me feel comfortable and confident about my skills. Very bad experience, I tried two instructors one was very rude and the other one kept saying I need more lessons and asking to take more extra lessons just to get more money out of people also hid car was in bad shape to practice with.. I don't recommend going here unless you have prior experience and just need the test. I regret buying one of their packages.

Going into the program, I had some driving experience from a past driving school, but I wasn’t very confident in my skills. My driving instructor Nafeesa helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and made sure I was prepared for the G2 road test. On the day of the test, I was very nervous but Nafeesa assured me that I would be fine. I passed the G2 test on the first try! I couldn’t have done it without Young Star Driving 🙂

I have finally overcome my fear of getting behind the wheels after 11 years thanks to Abid Sir. His patience and perseverance has made me clear G2 in one go at Port Union where passing rate is hard. I am able to drive confidently now and his teachings are always with me when I am behind the wheels. Highly recommend him as a teacher. His method are constructive, logical and easy to remember. Wishing him many more years of success in this business and any other endeavour that he may chooses to pursue. Gem of a person and a fantastic instructor!I have to add this. As a 30-something year old woman driving for the first time, I was incredibly anxious. I was assigned Abid who from Lesson 1 brought the calmness that I needed (even when a deer ran across Kingston Road 5 minutes into our first lesson!).Not only that, but Abid is incredibly knowledgeable on what it takes to pass both the test and stay safe on the road long after you’ve passed. He put so much care and effort in so that I would pass my G2 first time with flying colours—and yesterday I did! In my opinion, he’s got to be one of the best driving instructors in the city, if not the province. I had a great experience with Young Star Driving School. The online learning was easy to follow and provided a lot of good tips to help with practical skills. My instructor Nafeesa was amazing! She is kind, patient and made me feel so calm during all of my lessons. When it came to booking my G2 driving test she handled everything for me and I was able to use the same car I did in my lessons for my test as well. Thanks Abid for great observations and for identifying my weakness for my G2 and G tests.Just in case you failed for 1st time, get the soft copy of your test results from online drive test site and show to him. This will help him to concentrate more on your weaknesses.Also, I’d like to say big thanks for suggesting to give my G test second attempt at Oshawa drive test instead of Port Union. This suggestion was little bit expensive but end results was G test pass 😊.I’ll highly recommend to go with Young Star Driving School and if possible, get Abid as your instructor.

Nafeesa has been a wonderful instructor to learn from. She is knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and gives calm constructive correction when required. She was able to accommodate my schedule, and worked with me to prepare for my G2. Thanks to her remarkable teaching methods I passed the test on my 1st try! Excited to begin my highway sessions soon. I had a great experience learning to drive with Young star driving school along with driving instructor Mr. Zubair. They were patient, supportive, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. They provided clear instructions and feedback that helped me improve my driving skills quickly. I also appreciate their flexibility with scheduling lessons and their willingness to work around my busy schedule. Zubair was my instructor for the G2. A big shout out and a thank you to Zubair, Without his diligent, patient and methodical instruction, I would not have been able to pass the G2. He is an understanding instructor who not only instructs methodically but also encourages and calms the student down, especially before the road test. Thank you so much Zubair for everything.

10/10 experience! I’ve taken driving lessons before with a different company to get my G2, and even though I passed I was still nervous doing the test and it took 2 attempts.With Young Star, specifically with my driver Abid, it was an amazing experience! Abid is very personable, friendly, humourous and has a very patient and detailed way of instructing. He really breaks things down so you’re able to grasp different concepts and really become comfortable driving. By the time my G test came up, I wasn’t even nervous because I was so confident in my driving abilities by then. As someone who has been nervous about driving essentially my whole life, words cannot describe the night and day difference in my driving confidence , after these lessons.10/10 would recommend!

I had gone to another driving school but was left unsatisfied by their level of instruction. I was referred to Young Star by my sister, and I am so glad to have found Nafeesa and Abid. They are very personable and thorough. I was able to pass my G2 with Nafeesa, and then my G test with Abid. I was able to tell that this driving school really takes care of their students — Nafeesa and Abid were motivating, encouraging, and always willing to go the extra mile for me.

I have known Mr. Zubayr for a few years and have always been super satisfied. He helped me with both G2 and full G drive tests. He’s the most professional person you can deal with.. Always punctual, respectful and never wastes a single minute of the training.. he’s so knowledgeable of the rules and driving technique. Above all, he has a very good way to train drivers with different driving abilities and backgrounds..the reason I’m saying this is because I referred him to my family and friends and everyone was happy dealing with him. I’m very glad that I have approached this driving school after failing 2 times in my driving test. I wrote to the management that I need someone to train me and make me clear the next time. I was very lucky to have Mr.Zubair sir as my trainer. He is the best instructor I have ever had. Step 01: 20 Hours of Guided Online Learning

    5. Defensive Driving Techniques

  • Objective: Provide students with a foundational driving education in line with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) protocols.

Step 02: 10 Hours of Home-Link Online Education

  • Duration: 10 hours
  • Format: Online, self-paced
  • Features: Interactive lessons, quizzes, and scenario-based exercises
  • Objective: Reinforce classroom learning and ensure a thorough understanding of safe driving practices.

Transition to Online Learning

Due to COVID-19, classroom sessions and homework have moved online. This ensures students can continue their education and become confident drivers while following Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) protocols.

Previously:

  • Students attended 20 hours of classroom sessions (five hours a day for four days).
  • Teachers provided workbooks for home activities, including MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks, short questions, and small surveys.

Now:

  • The same workbooks are available as online activities, which students can complete at their own pace.
